Vojvoda i vojvotkinja od Sussexa, Meghan i Harry, božićne praznike će provesti u Kanadi. Mladi par je uzeo šest tjedana odmora od kraljevskih dužnosti kako bi proveli što više slobodnog vremena kao obitelj, javlja Her.

The Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, opened a new session of Parliament this morning, in a ceremony known as the State Opening of Parliament. The State Opening brings together all three parts of Parliament: the House of Commons, the House of Lords, and the Monarch. Before either House can proceed to public business, The Queen officially opens Parliament by addressing both Houses in The Queen’s Speech. The #QueensSpeech is drafted by the Government and outlines future plans and legislation for the year ahead.

Kraljevska obitelj praznike inače slavi zajedno u rezidenciji Sandringham, u Norfolku. Meghan, Harry i njihov sin Archie im se neće pridružiti.

The Duchess of Sussex will attend @OneYoungWorld opening ceremony this evening to continue her support for this amazing collective of global youth ambassadors. Her Royal Highness was a counsellor for OYW in Dublin in 2014 as well as in Ottawa in 2016. This evening she again joins world leaders and activists to celebrate the youth of today as they tackle some of the world’s greatest problems. She is proud to attend as Vice President of The Queens Commonwealth Trust and to continue her long-standing commitment to this very important summit. Later this week The Duchess will hold a round table discussion with several of the OYW young leaders to address the issue of gender equity worldwide, and how we can all play our part to reach equality for all. Ahead of the opening ceremony tonight, we take a look back at some photos and moments from HRH attending One Young World in the past. 'Odluka o odmoru u Kanadi prikazuje važnost ove države Commonwealtha za njih oboje', rekao je njihov glasnogovornik.

Više detalja gdje će odsjesti u Kanadi nije otkriveno i to iz sigurnosnih razloga. Ovu državu je Harry često posjećivao, Meghan je i ondje živjela sedam godina prije nego što se udala za Harryja. 

Božićne praznike Sussexi će proslaviti s Dorijom Ragland, Meghaninom majkom i nekolicinom prijatelja.
