Vojvoda i vojvotkinja od Sussexa potrošili su desetke tisuća funti na novu web stranicu i popularni Instagram profil Sussex Royal. Par je ime htio registrirati kao svjetski logo za brojne oblike aktivnosti, među kojima su modni brendovi, pribor, knjige i društvene usluge. No, kraljica i njezini izvršni dužnosnici su se složili kako je neprimjereno da princ Harry i Meghan Markle zadrže riječ kraljevski na svojim proizvodima, javlja Cosmopolitan.

Daily Mail je objavio izjavu izvora bliskog kraljevskoj obitelji i rekao: 

"Kako vojvoda i vojvotkinja od Sussexa odstupaju s dužnosti viših članova kraljevske obitelji i planiraju biti financijski neovisni, riječ 'Royal' treba malo bolje sagledati. Rasprave u vezi navedene teme i dalje traju. Kao dio tranzicije vojvode i vojvotkinje u novi stil života, već se uvelike planira pokretanje njihove nove neprofitne organizacije.
